Somewhere In My Head

By David K feat. Opium

Rue de Plaisance is proud to present our much anticipated debut release, "Somewhere In My Head" from our great friend, David K. Renowned for his collaborations with labels such as Freak'N Chic, Cocoon, Tsuba and Supplement Facts, David's name has long been a stamp of musical excellence. What better an artist to launch the label ? On “Somewhere In My Head” David teams up with bass player and backing singer of Nouvelle Vague, Opium. Pushing the boundaries with a raw, deep and cutting edge sound the pair create a track that as always with David's work, is refreshing and truly personal. Our two remixes from Switzerland based producer Deetron and the France based label owner Varoslav, retain the deepness and craziness of the track, with both artists bringing their own personal groove and identity to the original. On the flip David also brings us another new original cut, in the beautifully deep and uplifting "Lost In Bangkok." We hope that you enjoy the tracks as much as we do !
